Jul. 9th, 2005 01:40 pmAnita is a powerhouse. She throws herself into whatever she is doing and does it with gusto. She trusted me to be a mod at DA and for that I am very grateful. She is a very talented graphic designer and she beats me at the internets by a long shot. Even if she still calls me Cora. ;)
Haleth. This woman is singlehandely responsible for the fact that I can no longer listen to the song "Heart of Glass" without a manic grin and a giggle. http://www.heartofslash.net/html/heart_of_slash.html I am killed dead every time she posts a story. It is hot and honest and makes me quiver. She's also always up for a sweet word when someone needs it.
Jo is one freaking cool person. She hasn't had it easy during the years I've known her, but she is a good person who I'm glad to have known. Just how awsome if Joanna? She has not one, but two pirate tatoos. That's right, two. She also embraces the geekdom that is the HP fandom with a grace and snarktitude that is quite rare.
I haven't known Kat long, but she really really impresses me as a person. She is a very loving mother and puts up with a lot of shit. She is such a support to people. I love reading her posts and replies because I know, even when they are snarky or freaking tired that it's a good person writing them. She's another talented author on my flist, but the real reason I like her so much is because she is so kind.
What can you say about a woman who's cats take on the personalities of their fictional counterparts, who lights shit on fire for fun, and whose husband has gotten a co-worker to confess his love to him just for his wife's amusement? That she's freaking awsome. Amanda knows when to make fun of herself and when to make fun of those around her. She's a strong woman who can take care of business. A lot of shit has come her way, but she still remains true to herself. She was the first person to get me reading a WIP willingly. Before the Archer I avoided them like the plauge. She's created so many worlds for her characters to play in it astounds me. She astounds me.
