I have an insane urge to have a marathon of my old shows. Voyager, X-Files, Original Power Rangers (Shut up!). Plus there are a ton of movies I want to see. I barely touched the TV all summer and apparently my desire to veg out has been incubating.

Movies I really want to see before I go back to skool.
-Wilde
-Better Than Sex
-Closer
-Sin City
-Troy
-Dumbo

I also want to rent The Island and Ladies in Lavender as soon as they come out. I missed them in theaters. I rarely pay the bucks to go to the movies, but I really wanted to see them.



First Lover

I remember her dirty blonde hair on my childhood pillow. Her young fingers with their bitten nails traveling up my thighs. She placed a pillow between my legs and smiled, enthralled as my hips rolled and pulled at the soft fabric. I gasped as she discovered my nipples. I learned what a little saliva could add to prolong a touch. I rode out my fantasies with her. Discovered my body.

Her hands grew sure. They learned how to leave me trembling and breathless. To push me further. She taught me how to love myself. How to ask others to emulate her all knowing touch.

So many years later her hair has darkened. Her fingers now long and smooth. Her long nails no longer wear the standards of her boredom. She touches full hips and weighted breasts. Looking over my body, she has seen me ripen. Blossom. Swell. She held me through each pain, through each rapture.

And now as I look into my lover’s eyes, blue and full of trust, I stand alone at my mirror and hold myself again.

We will have Sin City if you would like to wait. I thought the movie was incredible, and while it may be misogynist, the story is very compelling. Frank Miller is an excellent writer.
