Ten things I've done that you probably haven't


1. Gone through Doula training

2. Started a Lexicon for an AU slashfic

3. Had a "cry count" going for a movie. (16 separate times is my highest.)

4. Read the Illiad three times. Without it ever being assigned.

5. Written Hulk/Legolas slash.

6. Set my thumbnail on fire.

7. Dropped a thesaurus in the bathtub.

8. Made Harry Potter House undies.

9. Made two Greek costumes, including grieves, sandals and bracers. (One inspired by Diana, the other a standard upperclass women's chiton)

10. Been a Quaker.

If you have done these things I shall either proud or scared. Maybe a little of both.

I was lighting a candle back when I had acrylic nails and I had to angle my hand to reach down into the candle. When I brought it up, my thumbnail was on fire. It was gross.

Oh, if that thong could talk! The stories it could tell! Hey, I just remembered - I was Lana's Secret Snape in 2003, and I did some iron-on Potter Puppet Pals images for a teddy and some panties for her. So, that counts as "making HP underwear" right? Woot! :)

I was never required to read the Iliad; you smokin' the hobbit weed. I did that all on my own, but I probably did it more than three times, so you can get me there.

It wasn't so much MY thesaurus but there was still a thesaurus and a bathtub and me...dropping ....or throwing...one of those O:-)

And yes...you did make my first pair...I plead the 5th on the rest.

It was part of a presentation for IB Theatre. We were to present scenes from The Imaginary Invalid in an entirely new setting and/or style. So, my partner Cat and I decided upon Greek Theatre for reasons I cannot remember. We brought sandals to class, used some cloths from the fabric closet as togas (togae?), and our director Paris made large masks that looked like kindergarten art project rejections.

As I said, not high quality.

Nope. You didn't do anything wrong. I usually friend people I either have a *very* pressing need to know about their day to day existence or they're authors I read on a regular basis. I try not to keep too many people from home friended as it just feels a little weird.

It all depends on rides, but I may be coming to see the Crucible on Saturday. We'll see.

Have you ever had a paint fight at 9:30pm with another techie after gibby has left rehersal, and we were painting the Crucible set (I did that...oh...20 mins ago. I look like a black tiger)

Can't say that I have. (Especially as "another techie" would imply that *I'm* a techie. Alas, I was a mere actor at South.) But I did get into a paint fight *with* Gibby during class one day. Anything Goes set.

I may be able to come on Saturday. It all depends on how much my friend loves me. We shall see.
