What can I say about John? This is the guy who stayed up until around two-thirty letting me ramble about Tolkien. Not just any Tolkien, he let me ramble about the history of the different races of elves. Wow. I haven't apologized for rambling that much yet. Sorry! He makes me want to be a better person.

Now this is a lady I do not know too well. I *do* know that she is very very smart and a very caring mother. She's one I wish I knew better, but because of stupid internet politics involving several people who are not us I don't see her around very much anymore. *sigh*

Doug is freaking awsome. I met him on DiagonAlley where he would make both very intelligent and very snarky posts. He is a very talented artist. Every once and a while he posts some of his work and it never fails to impress me. He's also always there for an internet hug.

This woman brings new deffinition to the term porny. She incites porn wars on my flist and is so damn funny it makes my sides ache. Her icons make me giggle.

There are no words to say how much Jenwyn means to me. For twelve years of my life she has been my best friend and so much more. There is an inner light in her that shines through in whatever she does. She is a powerful person. I know she will be sucessfull in whatever she does. She sparkles. She really does sparkle.

In other news, today was a sad day. Stuff that I had been looking forward to did not happen, and it finally hit my mom that chemo is 95% certain. The other option is radiation wich would be just as bad physically. Le sigh.

It's time for "Not Depressing Movie on the Laptop Night."

Susan, thank you SO much for letting me know about those job openings at Lakeside. Is that also where you are working this summer?

A question for you, and if you know the answer, let me know!! Do you think that they would hire me just for the summer? As in..do you think they would hire me even though I'll have to quit and go back to school in August? Let me know what you think, thanks!! :)

I'm not working at Lakeside, but I'm in the same business. I work at Redwood Heights on 12th street.

I'm not sure about just for the summer, my pa's still at work so I can't ask him. The cheapest way to get out of the "will you be leaving in the fall" or "how long do you plan on staying here" question is to say "I am responsible for furthering my education, but for the forseeable future I see myself working here." (Just a handy job hunting tip I picked up from people much smarter than I am.
