Since my last two entries were less than sparkling, I thought I'd report on something good. I had a really good day. I spent most of it in my room (both roommates went home this weekend) reading books I wanted to read and taking a freakishly long bath. I saw Hitchhiker's Guide tonight for the first time. It was most excellent. Quite different plot wise than the books at points but I liked it anyway. My only real complaints would be the look of Marvin and how...stupid Zaphod was. I guess I always pictured him as a genius who just happened to be missing morals, good judgement and part of his brain. Oh well.

My computer should be back to me tomorrow! Sweet beautiful computer! Maybe I can get back into the writing frame of mind...

I am amazed by my fellow college student's lack of awareness of the world. It came as a huge shock to several people in my Research Methods class that there was trouble getting aid to the people of NO. It was depressing. Could someone please send them a clue?

Also, I got a Christmas present from Dayna! I am now the proud owner of a sooper stellar knitted Hufflepuff hat! It makes me very very happy. Thank you, Dayna!!! It rocks my sock drawer.

Some stuff is still rocky and uncertain (in a big way) but I thought I'd share the warm fuzzies today.

Well... to be fair, a lot of people on campus don't have TVs to follow the news and newspapers are hard to come by unless you get up extremely early, but stil. No excuse. I couldn't believe it.

Though the girl who was the most shocked was the same girl who exclaimed in the middle of our upper division theory class, "wait, you mean there are people who are like a ManWoman??? How? It's not possible. I didn't know that!" *headdesk*
