I had an amazing conversation with my brother last night. Biggest fears about life, what really matters and that kind of thing. He has grown up so much in the last five years, I barely recognize him. It's amazing to me. The energy flow between us has always been really good, but last night we reached a level of understanding and synthesis I don't think we've ever hit before.

My oldest niece turned five on the sixth. It literally seems like last week when I ran out of school to see her being born. I was the first person to hold her after her mother and father. Her birth changed my life. I can't go into how much here because those of you who care already know or would ask and it's a nice long story.

I heard a voice this weekend that I hadn't heard in a long time. It made me smile. It made me cry. But there you have it.

Some of you friended me because of the Troy fics I posted a while back. Would any of you be interested in reading more? I have bunnies, but I also have RL people on my journal who would probably mock me in the kindest if not quite pleasant way.

You're on my f-list because I thought you were awesome when I got to know you on DA and continue to do so now. Sometimes you post some really awesome, heartfelt sort of things and I really have nothing to say other than 'Awww!' or 'Wow' or something because I'm not so coherent, and I feel like that's a pretty lame response, so I just don't say anything...but I do read it all.

And it's 9 AM and I'm at work, so that may or may not have made any sense :P

We originally became friends to read each others fics. Fics or no fics, you're stuck with me now. Once I become friends with someone I stay by their side. I value friendship and family very highly. I can tell you do as well. :-)
