Three entries in one
Oct. 27th, 2005 04:51 pmI've been meaning to update for a while, but I keep getting distracted.
First entry:
I keep having really really weird dreams. Most of them start out really well, all warm and fuzzy. But then they become unsettling. Not really scary just... troublesome. Like the one where a good friend purposefully dropped a spider on me while I was in bed and then started teasing me when I was shaking. Or the one where I was trying to get to another friend, but kept getting pulled away by someone who I didn't want to see. Ick. Not sure what they are about, but I'm sure I'll piece it together eventually.
Second Entry:
One of my friends just got engaged. She is now looking for words of wisdom about relationships/marriage/weddings etc. So here I go posting all the "gems" my parents gave me.
End up with someone who...
1. makes you laugh.
2. you like to hear laugh.
3. has low expectations.
4. you like to listen to.
5. has a good sense of humor.
6. you want to see naked.
7. buys you a plug for your sink. (Mom had been complaining about the sink for weeks, so that's what she got for Christmas.)
8. can cook. (If you can't)
9. can fend for themselves.
10. you trust to buy a car.
Third Entry:
How the crap do you write sex scenes? I have two stories in the works that both require more than the 'fade to black' scenario. I've gotten right up to the point and my brain just shuts down. When I try to write I get too bogged down in the technicalities of writing that I can't tell if the effect I'm going for will be there at all. It's quite frustrating. It doesn't help that one of them is het and good examples of het are freaking hard to find. I don't want cheesy romance novel style or Letters to Penthouse. Sigh.
Alright, that's done with. I hope you all have been having good weeks. If not, I hope you have a better weekend. With cookies and snuggles.
