Meriadoc owns you all.
Aug. 24th, 2006 10:55 pmOh my GOD I have the night off! It has been roughly forever since I had a real weekend and this is my second night of freedom. Yay! I think I will go out and buy a donut to celebrate. *craves*
I need to do laundry. Boo. I also need to clear my floor of books so I can start using my yoga tape. I love yoga, but my motivation is all sorts of low. And for a very very strange reason.
I want to start exercising because I want more flexibility and more strength. I weigh more right now than I ever have, but on the other hand... I really like the way I look. I feel comfortable in my body and in my curves. I don't wanna lose that.
I know I need to eat better and I know I need to exercise. I need to do these things for my health, not my look. But I'll admit, if I lose weight right now I'll kind of miss it. I love my belly and the way my skirts fall over my hips. And for the first time in a long time I'm cool with my breasts.
I feel full and beautiful. So while I want more muscle and to be more bendy, I'll miss these curves when/if they go away.
Of all the problems I could have with my body, this one kicks ass.
On another, but related note, do any of you have a good cook book to recommend? I want to eat more natural things and to expand my tastes. I also know how to do very little in the kitchen. I'll need something pretty easy to follow. Any sugsestions?

P.S. Am watching Return of the King and the close up of Sam's lips saying "share the load" may never stop being funny to me.

It's hard to fuck anything up when you don't have to worry about something not being rare enough or whipping it for the wrong amount of time. Plants are harder to fuck up than animals and their secretions. No vegan recipe will ever be as touchy as a souffle, I promise you. And like I said, if that's not your thing, you can still totally use the recipes and put a nice chicken breast on the side.
