So http://www.livejournal.com/users/caradin/ mentioned the Ass Twins of Gondor in her last LJ post. She and I were discussing the pros and uh... other pros of the boys of Gondor and their behinds.

It makes one wonder how the audition process went. Or at least it makes cara and I wonder.

caradin: you don't know that Daisy and Sean have matching ass dimples like I am sooo not going too check out Leggy's crotch
caradin: um, i think i'll go with NO because well, just NO
Me: "Please Mr. Wenham, we have here a picture of Sean Bean's behind. Would you be kind enough to drop your trousers so we can do a quick comparison?"
Me: It was Phillipa and Fran who did most of the casting auditions....
caradin: "yeah ok!"
caradin: no wonder

Me: *has seen pics of the full frontal nudity variety for both Viggo and Bean* O:-)
caradin: Phillipa:"you look like you could play the brother to Sean Bean's Boromir, there's just one small thing"
caradin: Fran:"yeah, small thing........it has to be convincing right down to the skin"
caradin: Daisy:"you mean colour and such?"
caradin: Phillipa:"no, well, I guess you could put this under 'such'"
caradin: Fran:"right. See David, can I call you David?"
caradin: Daisy:"yeah sure."
caradin: Fran:"Well, there's just the matter of your bum."
caradin: Daisy:"My bum?"
caradin: Phillipa:"Right, you see, Sean has dimples and we need to know if you do as well because it is logical that brothers would have matching bum dimples."
caradin: Phillipa and Fran give him the one over

Me: Ladies and Gentlemen we have discovered the real reason Orlando did not play the role of Faramir.
